1. What's the best way to incorporate vintage style furniture in a bedroom, so that it looks fresh and balanced (and not like a museum/pastiche)?
Use vintage style but not vintage upholstery. We all want hygiene in the bedroom so mites and dust from textiles of bygone generations won’t appeal.
From ditsy florals to big blousy blooms, there are some amazing fabric designs around at the moment, and we've designed our new floral beds to be vintage in style, but modern in comfort.

2. What vintage styles are popular at the moment?
Florals, especially the faded styles, will always sing ‘vintage’!
Whether you are recreating a country cottage with ditsy 1980s style small-scale florals or a maximalist montage with mark making, pattern and stripes, make the florals your starting point and add around them.

3. What are some great ways to add vintage style to a bedroom?
Textures such as lace and linen are reminiscent of nostalgic styling of bygone eras.
Vintage style harks back to the pre-polyester age, so to create a vintage aesthetic, use natural fabrics and textiles (wool, cotton, flax, lace, and silk) made into hand-crafted items such as patchwork quilts, curtain tiebacks, tablecloths, or pretty bows on the back of chairs.
